The architecture of the villa with its high ceilings (some frescoed), the large spaces available "like in the past", the garden overlooking Lake Maggiore and Monte Rosa, will immerse you in an atmosphere very different from the usual contemporaneity, for romantic stays or peaceful family holidays.

I'll welcome you on the ground floor, entirely dedicated to the bed & breakfast. Here you'll can move freely among your room with private bathroom, the breakfast room, and the garden with its unmistakable palm trees where...

You can choose time to get excited in front of breathtaking sunrises with pink-colored snowy peaks, such as the perennial glacier of Monte Rosa, or dream in front of surprising fiery sunsets.

B&B in Laveno Mombello on Lake Maggiore

In this video, in addition to introducing you to my bed & breakfast, I also show some of the places you can visit during your holiday on Lake Maggiore.

Some can be reached by car, others by ferry: the Laveno ferry-boat station is only 940 m. away from the B&B and can be reached with a pleasant walk.

Still by foot, you can reach the lakefront and the Laveno cableway, from which you'll be transported to the top of Monte Sasso del Ferro (height 1062 meters) and enjoy an enchanting view of Lake Maggiore.

Some of the main places to visit on Lake Maggiore

• The Hermitage of Santa Caterina del Sasso: a fascinating monastery built overhanging a rocky wall - reachable in 14 minutes by car
• The Angera Fortress - reachable in 31 minutes by car
• The Borromean Islands - reachable starting from the Laveno ferry-boat station
